I haven't had any problems except scraped one time going in driveway, basically got it to protect my truck from the people who hit your truck when parking, been hit one time from bad parker, the rear step bumper that they sell is configured so that somebody will get skewered if they hit you, and with most cars and they sit low, the bumpers have been doing there job and no more damage to my truck
